Trique Designs is company that is dedicated in designing anything from photography to event posters to T-shirt designs to a variety of other things,this company was founded by Tonny Anthony Trique Mtumtum who is a chairman and C.E.O of the company, Trique Designs has only a year old but its already making its mark hence it worked with numerous up and coming designers and companies...thats hustle if you ask me,''I started designing and writing texts ontop of pictures using my phone and one day i thought why not start a business..a proffesional one since i had the drive and the passion for graphical designing..and no i dont use my phone for designing my work anymore ha ha ha'' says the talented designer.

Trique Designs has worked/designed  for alot of artists out there such as Envy flows, Mr.X, C12 and Babynaps just to name a few,''the graphics are a collectors item, they are on point and innovative after all the company is ran by a thinker,someone with bold and fresh ideas,someone who has a vision and goal to bring something new on the table'' says Babynaps..if you ask me this company is really determined to succeed...their passion and drive will take them to the top..no pun intended.lol

Before we go further i jus wanna give mad props to the event organisers (DSOM & M.O.T)...god forgive us for we will tarnish the Bat centre on the 24th of november...ok god forgave us so lets kill it!!!!

its another edition of the ever so popular show organised by Dubane state of mind called Rep ur lokshin, The purpose of the show is to unite artists from all over 031 to showcase their talents, skillz and everything related to hip hop,this aint your typical ordinary show..naaaaaaaah it aint..you this show is gonna be epic..crazy..insane..did i say crazy? ow yeah..KRAAAAAYZIE baby..believe that!!!!.

ok this show features some of the best acts to come outta durban..like Select play, Enhle, Mc cool, Judas, Backlash, Young cannibal and Master dee, C12, 22pagez, etc jus to name a few..ay if you ask me..its gow be too epic...and yes ill be there goin crazy in the croud coz im a fan of beautiful music.20bux gets you in and the show starts at exactly 11am..and i encourage all of yall to come and support beautiful homegrown ill driven music and trust me when i say..you will enjoy every single minute of it.

So if you're located in Umlazi, Ntuzuma, Pinetown, Umkomaas, Inanda, mxm let me just say IF YOU'RE LOCATED IN SOUTH AFRICA COME THROUGH AND WITNESS THE REBIRTH OF ILL DRIVEN HIP HOP WITH ILL DRIVEN EMCEEZ...yeah..hope you got the message.

Young or old..short or tall...omuhle nomumbi..yellow bone or black bone asnandaba sikfuna khona nj thina.lol dont you think its time you supported music instead of you pirating it? instead of you sending it via bluetooth?..lalelake here's a chance to see em do it live on stage...simply for the love of the artform.Rappers nowadays rap about possessions instead of droppin common sense..this is you chance to hear music..real music!!!!

Master Dee and Young Cannibal,if you're familiar with these two names please say this with me "BRRRAAAAAH BRRRAAAAAH".lol yeeeeeah ok ok back to the matter at hand since some people who don't attend shows may be clueless, Master D and Young Cannibal are a rap duo or should i say kasi rap duo to be precise from Umlazi and believe me they perform like crazy on stage and their music is too on point...take my word for that.



Young Cannibal (Phakamani Makhanya) grew up in eMthwalume then moved to Durban in the year 2000,he started rapping around 2005-6 he then went to PushiPlan productions and released two mixtapes and this year he signed under DMCANN, Master D (Andile Ngcamu) started rapping in 2009 under PushiPlan and released an E.p titled Ikas' lam last year and also got signed under DMCANN in april this year.These dudes are true hustlers with a never say die attitude you can see that in their music that's why they always shut any event down and kill the sickest features..am i lying? if you think i am then i suggest you go buy a copy of Lyrical warfare and listen to the whole tape..simple as that.The duo work under the biggest recording stable in 031...and that ladies and gentlemen is #DMCANN, talent like this doesn't deserve anything but the best.

Master D produced most of the tape since he produced seven tracks and Select play produced three tracks to complete the thirteen track phenomenon, everybody who has the tape will vouch for me when i say ITS MAD ILL..after all it is..Lyrical warfare.This tape has featured some very talented 031 greats...I'm talking about the 4x original material award winner Beast, Select play, Fallen angel and Rajah....talk about determination and wanting to achieve goals..ay i salute..the passion these dudes have..is limitless.

Master D has produced for numerous artists such as Lacostaration, LUS, Young Cannibal, Mpriest, Fallen angel, the list is endless, The duo will be opening for teargas at a show on the 24th in PMB and at Delasol.They are already topping charts on local radio stations..talk about true hustling ay ay sooner or later you will have to salute these guys...again their work ethic is unbelievable.

Lyrical warfare is a joint collaboration by DMCANN, B5CME and PushiPlan and the tape costs R30...believe me..its worth it and a whole lot more!!!!!

C12 PRESENTS:Road 2 College da Mixtape

How i love durban hip hop.lol ay anyway,does the name C12 ring a bell? or should i say the name C-oneTwo ring a bell? im sure some of you heard about this dude or seen him blaze the open mic with his crazy flow and lyrical ability,who is he? where's he from? he looks abit mysterious from afar....ay lets find out.

C12 (Sphiwe Thabiso Ngidi) is a rapper/songwriter from a town called Isipingo,this guy doesnt just rap..he songwrites aswell .This guy is what i call a hustler oozing with talent that most people wish they could have..i mean everybody can rap..but not like the way he does it..everybody can flow..but definately NOT LIKE HIM!!!,believe that.

The rapper/RnB songwriter started rappin at the tender age of eleven years,''the song that inspired me to rap was PLEASE STAND UP by Enimem and my first ever song that i wrote was about my childhood sweetheart..come on i was inlove haw...so i thought.lol'' says the spontaneous rapper,C12 is a recording artist under 100%ZULUFIED ENTERTAINMENT and he's also a recruits vocalists for the company aswell..talented vocalists i might add..coz he has an eye for talent.

Ok ok enough about that this aint no autobiography,C12 is dropping his long awaited mixtape titled Road 2 College and it promises to be the best mixtape to rock the streets,parties,events and clubs through out 031 and S.A since it features almost every genre there is...im talking Dubstep,rap,rock,pop,rnb,soul,jazz and beatboxing...true definition of the term mixtape if u ask me,this tape is produced by some of the most talented producers...such as Tantrik, Nizo, Skitzo, Babynaps, Mr.X, Flava, Eljay,Enigma, etc jus to name a few,''i made sure that i worked with people who take overall sound quality as their main priority thats why some of these guys aint popular..they dont care about that..they care about their sound..thats why i worked with them since i also take pride in my work''

Hip-Hop Politics

Ok ok ok this is hectic...news in the streets is...theres a track circulating and this track does more damage than good!!!! who is this guy?? some say its Akalicious..some say its Ayanda..some say its just another rapper tryna get fame and exposure..we dont know so we as the Soundfontz team jus had to investigate more and guess what we found...yeah you guessed right..WE FOUND THE ORIGINAL TRACK and trus me..this track is like a can of worms..believe me.Well,the hectic part is..alotta high profiled 031 rapper's are mentioned even some from soweto and joburg..who ever this guy is believe me HE IS PISSED!!!!.

Well we tried to find out who did this track and where but our efforts were unfruitful..so we decided to take a risk..a big one,since we managed to get ahold of the track we decided to share it with yall...but alot of people will be pissed and angry coz what this guy says here is disturbing,Soundfontz doesnt condone this type of hip hop but hey hip hop has aloooota politics and if sells then..why not.

Sub-Machine Gun (SMG)

Three words my good people...Sub..Machine..Gun!!!!!!!,who is he? where's he from? yeah yeah Soundfontz decided to track him down for an exclusive interview and set the record straight.Before we get to it I just wanna add this...THIS GUY HAS A KILLA FLOW AND HIS DELIVERY IS GODLY..MY GOD!!!!,ok ok back to business.Sub-Machine Gun better known as SMG is a rapper/producer from pinetown in a township called Nazaretha and believe me when i say this guy is destined for greatness,his intelectual lyrical ability and ill flow makes him one of 031's most respected cats and does justice everytime he steps on stage.

SMG is part of a team called Hidden Key Elements (HKE) which consists of himself and Queasy Quea and when they step on stage...dude when they step on stage its armagedon..straight up,this guy has been writing lyrics for eight years and people started noticing his skill four years ago and after that he and Queasy worked towards promoting Hiddenkey Elements as a brand that fuses intelectual rap with mainstream elements.Hiddenkey has produced instrumentals for alot of cats out there and one of those cats is Mr.sharp like a razor himself...yeah you guessed right they worked with Mchichwa,im sure they made a killer of a track coz according to what iv heard so far..their sound is mean.

SMG & Queasy Quea (HKE) are working on a mixtape titled HIDDEN KEY ELEMENTS:ELEMENTARY MIXTAPE and they already have a single out titled N.A.Z my township and believe me its a kraaaaaaaaayzie track..the flow? its too godly and thats why i had to tag it on this article.SMG is an inspiration to most cats including me (says C12,a fan of HKE) and i wish he and Queasy the best in whatever they do...after all they hooked up the first ever hip hop show in Snazo (Nazaretha) and it was a success,that my good people is called ambition and passion.

Look out for SMG and Queasy Quea..in my opinion they deserve an award or something coz talent like that should be appriciated..believe that!!!!,check their track out below and support 031 music

Qumbisa: is he a punchline wizard in 031??

Qumbisa..ever heard about this guy? well I have,and believe me when I say this guy is crazy.This guy is a battle emcee and he doesnt show respect or mercy to anyone who dares stands against him,I first heard this dude on a diss track dissin an emcee who is very well known in Umlazi and like everyone else i was..astonished by his lyrical ability..wordplay..punchlines..metaphorical punz and delivery.This guy is a creative indeed,but his not in the good books of most rappers though,
''I dont have time to make friends or satisfy emcees..i wanna prove to everyone that im the best and i wont accept these crappy deals these so called record labels keep offering me'' says the self proclaimed ''punchline lecturer''.

Earlier this year he dropped a smaaaaaash single titled Clapper produced by Nkondlo and it was a hit and the funny thing is the very same people who kept pushing him down were actually giving him mad props and respect..i-HIP HOP INAMAPOLITIKI as he would say.Speaking about politics,about a year ago he dropped a single titled Hip hop politics featuring Mavie and it topped iNanda fm's hip hop chart for weeks on end,believe me this guy is mad ill.News on the street is,his working on a project due to drop soon and it will be produced by Nkondlo,King junior,Stanza etc jus to name a few.

The ex member of Head on collision is set to make a mark in the music industry and judging by his work rate i really dont know what could stand on his way..like seriously and with Nkondlo on his right handside belive me...he will succeed.

Babynaps: A legend before Fame

The words creative,multi-talented,embitious,gifted is an understatement when they are reffered to this dude right here,Babynaps (Sphiwe Mkhize) is a rapper,vocalist,songwriter,record producer,sound engeneer,mad ill beat producer,dancer,choreographer,socialite,the dude draws comics,etc.
impossible huh?? trust me i know the guy on a personal level and if you're from Umlazi then im sure you've heard about Napa.
at age 25 Napa is a legend in choreography and dance through out the whole of Umlazi,ok ok ok coming back to hip hop,this guy has not 1...not 2...not 5 but 8 albums under his name recorded,mixed and mastered by himself at Home-Made Entertaiment.this guy is a true revalation,he's flow is leathal and to top that off he's one of those intellectual rappers that kill you on a feature if your not..careful.
He has worked with numerous vocalists aswell,written songs for them,produced for them and promoted them aswell.Outside the game his humble...theres alot to say about this guy i mean he's a house producer aswell,yaz lomjita uphiwe nam ngyabaseleka manj ay f'tsek.lol gimme a producer who can master these genres:

• deep/tribal house
• durban kwaito
• soul/jazz
• hip hop
• RnB
• dubstep and Rock.
